This privacy policy describes how Navynorix BV (hereinafter 'Navynorix', 'we', 'us') processes personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 — GDPR) and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.
1. Data controller
Navynorix BV, registered office at Avenue Louise 235, box 4, 1050 Brussels, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number BE 0762.518.443, acts as data controller. Contact: privacy@navynorix.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect identification data (name, email address), contact details, information about your interest in projects, and technical data (IP address, browser, language preference). When subscribing to the newsletter we only collect your first name and email address.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process your data (a) based on your consent for the newsletter and non-essential cookies, (b) to perform a contract when you open an investment account, (c) under our legal obligations within the FSMA and ECSP frameworks, and (d) based on our legitimate interest to improve and secure our services.
4. Retention period
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Investment records are retained for ten (10) years in line with Belgian anti-money-laundering legislation. Technical logs are retained for a maximum of twelve (12) months.
5. Recipients
We share data only with processors acting on our behalf (EU-based hosting, email marketing platform, accountant) and with competent authorities where legally required. We never sell your data.
6. International transfers
Personal data is processed exclusively within the European Economic Area. Where a transfer outside the EEA is required, we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses issued by the European Commission.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and the right to object to the processing of your data. You may exercise these rights via privacy@navynorix.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels — contact@apd-gba.be).
